Short description
Barbara Lapsys is a visual artist who specializes in ceramics and graphics. She has a diploma in fine arts, with her main subjects being ceramics and printmaking. Lapsys is a member of the Professional Association of Fine Artists in Austria and the IG Bildende Kunst.
She has already received several awards, including first place at the ART AWARD of the Professional Association of Fine Artists of Austria in 2020 and 2021 in the category Sculpture / Ceramics / Installations. Lapsys has participated in several group exhibitions, including at the Domenig Ankerbrotfabrik Gallery in Vienna and at Schönbrunn Palace.
Her work includes various types of ceramics, portraits, sculptures and graphics. She likes to experiment with different materials.
